Client Challenge
Client is a grain storage and merchandising operation that has grown through acquisition. Many of their customers are animal feed mills that often order last minute often requiring the client operations team to scramble to deliver the order on-time. Client is targeting to move their customers to a more predictable ordering model given their demand is largely consistent
Our Approach
Captios Partners’ product approach included a considerable amount of user research and interviews to determine the optimal design balancing user interface with user experience. Once design was complete, an agile development approach was used to build both web and mobile apps in 3 months (both Android and iOS versions). In addition to testing throughout the build, user acceptance testing was conducted before deploying to production.
Client Outcome
Final production-grade solution included a mobile app that client truck drivers use to place orders with customers when they are delivering an order to customer. This also includes an admin and nutritionist module that enables communication between client and their customers to iterate on customer formulation. Our solution integrated mobile, web, and AI Vision in an end-to-end solution.
While we are still measuring client feedback, client is planning to commercialize application and sell externally given early feedback.
